Any livestock manure, whether it is pig manure, chicken manure, or cow manure, cannot be directly used for power generation through the fermentation of biogas. This is not an exaggeration, but determined by the original composition of biogas. The most deadly pollutant among them is hydrogen sulfide (H2S), which is not only highly toxic but also extremely corrosive. According to actual measurement data, the lowest concentration of hydrogen sulfide in biogas produced from cow manure is 12000-15000 ppm, which poses a huge threat to subsequent power generation units, pipelines, and valves. If the generator is directly connected without treatment, it will cause equipment shutdown, corrosion and damage to core components in a short period of time, resulting in huge economic losses. The core logic of biogas purification is to remove impurities, eliminate harmful gases, and improve gas quality to meet the combustion standards of power generation units. The complete process usually includes four key steps: dehydration, three-stage desulfurization, pressurization, and buffer storage, each of which is crucial and indispensable.
首先是一級脫水環(huán)節(jié)。沼氣從發(fā)酵池通過輸送模式進入系統(tǒng)后,第一站就是一級脫水塔。沼氣在發(fā)酵過程中會攜帶大量水蒸氣,若不先去除,水分會與硫化氫結(jié)合形成酸性液體,導致后續(xù)管道嚴重腐蝕。脫水塔通過物理吸附或冷凝原理,高效分離沼氣中的液態(tài)水與雜質(zhì),為后續(xù)的脫硫工序掃清障礙,同時也能防止水蒸氣在加壓過程中造成氣阻。
Firstly, there is the first stage dehydration process. After biogas enters the system through transportation mode from the fermentation tank, the first station is the primary dehydration tower. Biogas carries a large amount of water vapor during the fermentation process. If not removed first, the water will combine with hydrogen sulfide to form an acidic liquid, leading to severe corrosion of subsequent pipelines. The dehydration tower efficiently separates liquid water and impurities from biogas through physical adsorption or condensation principles, clearing obstacles for subsequent desulfurization processes and preventing gas blockage caused by water vapor during the pressurization process.

For the high concentration hydrogen sulfide biogas produced from raw materials such as cow manure, a single desulfurization method is often difficult to meet the standard. Therefore, a "three-stage desulfurization" process is adopted, which progresses layer by layer to ensure complete removal of hydrogen sulfide. The first and second stage desulfurization usually use efficient desulfurizers to initially remove most of the hydrogen sulfide; The third level is equipped with activated carbon or other fine desulfurization units with high adsorption capacity for deep purification, reducing the hydrogen sulfide content to a safe range. Only by passing these three levels can biogas overcome the hidden dangers of toxicity and corrosion and meet the combustion standards.
脫硫完成后,需要進行加壓。經(jīng)過凈化的沼氣,壓力通常較低,無法直接驅(qū)動發(fā)電機組。此時,配套的羅茨風機或?qū)S迷鰤罕脮φ託膺M行加壓,使其壓力提升至發(fā)電機組額定進氣壓力的要求。加壓后的沼氣,能量密度更高,燃燒更穩(wěn)定,能確保發(fā)電機輸出平穩(wěn)的電力,避免因供氣壓力波動導致發(fā)電效率下降或機組熄火。
After desulfurization is completed, pressure needs to be applied. Purified biogas usually has low pressure and cannot directly drive the generator set. At this time, the matching Roots blower or dedicated booster pump will pressurize the biogas to increase its pressure to the required rated intake pressure of the generator set. The pressurized biogas has a higher energy density and more stable combustion, ensuring a smooth output of electricity from the generator and avoiding a decrease in power generation efficiency or unit shutdown caused by fluctuations in gas supply pressure.
最后一步是緩沖罐儲存與供氣。加壓后的沼氣會被送入緩沖罐。緩沖罐不僅起到儲存氣體的作用,更重要的是穩(wěn)定系統(tǒng)壓力。它像一個 “能量緩沖池”,當發(fā)電機的用氣量發(fā)生波動時,緩沖罐能自動調(diào)節(jié)供氣,確保供給發(fā)電機的沼氣壓力始終恒定在安全值。當壓力達到發(fā)電機設(shè)定的啟動閾值,緩沖罐便會自動向發(fā)電機組輸送純凈的沼氣,驅(qū)動機組運行發(fā)電。
The final step is buffer tank storage and gas supply. The pressurized biogas will be sent to the buffer tank. The buffer tank not only serves to store gas, but more importantly, it stabilizes the system pressure. It is like an "energy buffer tank", which can automatically adjust the gas supply when the gas consumption of the generator fluctuates, ensuring that the pressure of the biogas supplied to the generator remains constant at a safe value. When the pressure reaches the starting threshold set by the generator, the buffer tank will automatically deliver pure biogas to the generator set, driving the unit to operate and generate electricity.
整套流程串聯(lián)起來,就完成了從 “高硫、含水、低壓” 的原始沼氣,到 “低硫、干燥、高壓” 的清潔燃氣的轉(zhuǎn)變。這不僅是為了保護昂貴的發(fā)電機組,延長設(shè)備使用壽命,更是為了保障安全生產(chǎn),符合環(huán)保排放要求。
